The National ID registration is now open to children below 1 year old, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) said Thursday.

The PSA said the parent or guardian of children applying for registration should already be registered to the National ID system, as the child’s National ID Number would be linked to the adults’ National ID Number.

“If parents or guardians still need to register for the National ID, they may register together with their child in any PSA registration center and colocation sites,” PSA said in a statement.
